 God Bless the USA

We love our country and recognize the great blessing we have of
waking up each day in America. And we understand that the blessings
we enjoy are the result of  someone else's sacrifice. From the bloody
footprints of Valley Forge to the poured out sacrifices in Iraq,  others
have fought and bled and died for the rest of us. We are a blood-bought
nation, and we honor all those Great American Heroes  who paid the
ultimate price for our liberty. It is a tremendous gift.

We do not know what the future holds for America, but we know
who holds the future. The years of the Revolutionary War, were
full of darkness and  uncertainty, fought against overwhelming
odds. We were blessed at such a time as this, by the leadership
of a great man, who would later be called "The Father of our
Country".

There alone on the cold snowy woods of Valley Forge, George Washington
was found bowing his knees before the God of Heaven. Who knows how
those prayers changed the course of a war, and the history of a nation.
Who knows how God can change the course of America today, if
we come on bended knee, seeking the guidance and strength that
only He can give.

George Washington quote about The Winter at Valley Forge
"No history now extant can furnish an instance of an
army's suffering such uncommon hardships as ours has done and bearing them with the same patience and fortitude. To see men without clothes to cover their nakedness, without blankets to lie on, without shoes (for the want of which their marches might be traced by the blood from their feet)...and submitting without a murmur, is a proof of patience and obedience which n my opinion can scarce be paralleled."

America is still a nation of such soldiers.  And we say "Thank you.
Thank you for making us proud to be Americans.
You are all our heroes".
